Ordinary membership applications have been received from Stephanie Miller and Claire Kettlewell of the Civil Legal Assistance Office.

Just to confirm the Library will remain closed for the period of lockdown but our building continues to be regularly monitored by the Scottish Court Administration with whom we share the building.

Just to let you know Maria Robertson is on Annual Leave next week so emails will only be dealt with each evening Monday 6th to Thursday 9th April.

Friday 10th April is a public holiday.

This is further to last week’s notice shutting the library for the period of lockdown.

Following Government announcements on 23rd March 2020 the Management Committee has decided that we should shut the library and coffee shop for the foreseeable future. We will however review the position in light of subsequent government advice.

Maria Robertson will be working from home and regularly checking emails accordingly.

Barrister Bear and Library Lion are practicing social distancing, whilst studying some hand hygiene tips. We do hope all our followers are taking care during these “interesting times”.

Our library remains open to members meantime.

Maria Robertson is attending a networking event on Thursday 12th March so the Society will be closed from 11.30am. She will then be on annual leave from Friday 13th to Monday 16th March. Linda Elstone will cover the mornings, for the hours of 9.30am – 1pm.

The Coffee Room and Library will be closed each afternoon accordingly.

Happy 13 year anniversary to our Executive Secretary and Librarian.  Maria says “thanks to all our lovely members for putting up with me, and to all the fabulous people I’ve met through the years”.
