Privacy policy – Supply of information

There is no guarantee that any e-mail you send will be received by the Society of Advocates in Aberdeen. E-mail is not a secure form of communication and can be intercepted by third parties so e-mails sent to the Society of Advocates are not confidential. Any information sent by e-mail is done so at your own risk and you should carefully consider its sensitivity before transmitting it.

You understand and agree that any information you supply online may become part of the database held by the Society of Advocates in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). The information supplied by you will be used for research and marketing purposes and may be updated by you at any time by contacting the Society of Advocates. Information about you will not be supplied to anyone unless we believe it is lawful to do so under the Data Protection Act or GDPR.
